	Let The Good Times Rock'n'Roll is the foundation album of the Past & Present music project by Max Marinaio. A stunning project that brings together soul, blues and inspired pop rock in a highly cohesive way. This means that appeals to a broad international audience... but with an additional very important feature called authenticity. Fantastic songwriting, rich but equilibrated arrangements, quality instrumentation, an engaging way to play the guitar, borth electric and acoustic... these are some of the characteristics of a masterly work, clearly made to last over time. In the artist's words: "this is the project on which I worked since my beginnings and which I resumed, renamed, renovated during the pandemic. When I began writing songs  - at about 20 y.o. - I used to collect my titles in track-lists of Albums that I would have liked to release. I wrote a lot of songs but my life took other directions and so I only managed to publish one album, on CD back in 2003 with a small pressing and an indie label. After that I started my band the Flying Cats: a very good band but conceived to just play live music. So my discographic project revived only in 2020 when I imagined a new name for it and thought to make it become a project to be carried out with Nautilus Studio In this sense, this is a brand new project I'm giving life to, and I'm very excited about bringing it to the people. I also hope to convince young people to listen to some music that is inspired by the roots and help them understand that being able to play true instruments is important if you want to make music professionaly. Creativity is the most important thing but playing is organic to that process." The music from this project is for any public because it mixes up different influences in a unique blend of sound which can define the soul of the artist.
SPECIAL GUEST: IRENE DI VILIO This Album Feature the talented Jazz singer Irene Di VIlio in two songs: the fascinating Jazz tune "Look Look Look" as Lead Vocalist, a song that Max use to play as a closure to his concerts and in "Let's Rock" as a background vocalist. Thank you Irene for the great work!	"It is not a "one-genre" type of thing, since it is formed with different songs as they came to my heart. At the beginning I thought it was pop with a rhythm & blues base, nowadays Soul seems to me a better definition but still a little bit strict, after all is not the definition that matters but the music itself" Sixteen fine songs, cool arrangements and a lot of instruments involved! In this album you'll find: guitars, piano, bass, double bass, brass section, percussions, organ and even vibraphone.

One more important thing to say is that... 
this is that kind of quality music that many people think is missing or impossible to make today, for a lot of reasons...
productions costs included because, yes... it takes time
this Album in particular took over five years to be produced
but it is really made with the intentions to last, as any artistic product should be
this is the point: this is an artistic product not just another commercial, marketable prpoduct

Real music is not missing... it's here!  
Not so visible admittedly... because there is no big - or even little - money for promotion in the indie music field
but there is a lot of heart and authenticity! Completely missing elsewhere.
